I am quite simply obsessed with pollen 🌻🌼 pollen is the main source of protein for honey bees, so it is critical for raising the tens of thousands of young bees that will one day make up the hive

For those of you who were following Honey Harvest Apiary back in June 2023, you might remember that my love of pollen took me to the Amazon Rainforest, where I studied the pollen diets of stingless bees!! Honey bee pollen diets are extensively documented at this point, but I’m still tempted to put this pollen under the microscope like I did with my Amazon samples so I can show you all how amazing pollen can be on both the macroscopic and microscopic levels!! 🔬

Also, I may be looking into selling pollen in the future 👀 if that’s something that might interest you please let me know!! Could be at our vendor events soon if there’s enough interest
