Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • We are completely South Jersey based, with an emphasis on where I grew up at the Cape May and Atlantic County Jersey Shore!

  • We are very lucky to have many apiary hosts all in Cape May County! These range from personal properties to local schools (like Cape May Tech, where we run an apiculture education program with students!). We are all over the county, so if you ever see a honey bee on a flower there’s a good shot they’re one of ours!

  • Honey Harvest Apiary officially started in 2023, but it was a concept for much longer than that! I had been beekeeping in Cape May Couty for 6 years before I launched Honey Harvest Apiary, but (to make a long story short) I started this business after a life changing research trip to the Peruvian Amazon. When I came back, I started Honey Harvest Apiary with the mission of telling anyone and everyone in South Jersey about the wonders of these little insects!

  • We can definitely see about that, though it depends on your local regulations and if your property is conducive to having honey bees. If you are interested in this, contact us here

  • We absolutely can! We consider ourselves experts on this front: unlike many other beekeepers, we will remove bees from anywhere, not just when they’re swarming on trees. Please give us a call at (609) 675-4134 or email at HoneyHarvestApiary@gmail.com if you need bees removed from your property

  • You have three main options for buying from us:

1.) Buying from our online shop

2.) Shopping our items at The Maple Tree (2087 US-9, Ocean View, NJ 08230)

3.) Visiting our stand at one of our upcoming vendor events! Visit here for more info

  • We do! We have a long history of beekeeping talks, from teaching beekeeping 101 to doing workshops on traditional candle making with beeswax. If you want to host a talk about ANYTHING beekeeping, let us know here

  • We can! If you want to have a specially packaged/designed product for any future events, contact us here

  • We sadly do not! This may be a possibility for us in the future though, so if you’re interested check back in with us later!

  • We absolutely do, mentoring is one of my favorite things to do! Unlike many other beekeepers, I have experience running a bee business & working on honey bee research, so I have some unique insights to offer when it comes to mentorship. Feel free to contact me for more info!

  • We do pollination on a case by case basis, but usually we do pollination for smaller scale operations. Feel free to contact us and chat about using our hives for pollination, but if you have a larger scale farm we encourage you to talk to our friends at Harvey’s Honey in Woodstown
